The race takes place on the scenic brick streets in Adel along the parade route in front of hundreds of spectators. It is exciting to watch the streets come alive as the community celebrates a small town Iowa festival.
After the Adel Sweet Corn Festival 5K run, stick around for one of Iowa’s largest parades. Then head to Adel’s town square for free delicious Deardorf Sweet Corn. The festival is complete with fantastic food vendors and live entertainment for the entire family. The Adel Sweet Corn Festival wraps up with a kickin beer garden and live band.

The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn School District Scholarship Foundation Fund, Inc./Dollars for Scholars is a non-profit organization established and incorporated for the sole purpose of providing financial assistance through scholarships to students graduating from Adel DeSoto Minburn Community High School who wish to further their education beyond the high school level.
